Advocacy & Consultation
Sometimes parents encounter barriers in working with schools to support their students’ IEP-related needs. We can help. Through our special education advocacy model, we can:
Provide a thorough review of your child’s IEP, Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA), and/or Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP), and provide written questions and feedback.
Work with you to plan and strategize for your next meeting or communication with the school.
Provide a written summary of questions to ask or points to bring up with the school.
Provide a written advocacy letter with suggested support, for you to bring to the school.
Attend an IEP meeting with you as your advocate, in person or virtually.
Cost listed is the charge per hour of service.
School systems are complex and can be difficult to navigate. We can by meeting with you to provide:
Support reviewing and understanding IEPs and 504 Plans and what support each option can provide your child.
Guidance with understanding evaluations, eligibility, and support options
Overviews of school-based and document-specific support options, to help your child
Listings of potential interventions to support your child’s unique needs, which can be shared with the school.
Consultation listed cost is per one hour of service.

We can help by offering:
Individualized strategies to support focus, regulation, and positive behavior
Consistent routines and tools that promote success across settings
Partnership with families to provide clear, practical strategies for managing behaviors at home with confidence
Advocacy to support home/school collaboration and alignment of strategies across the home and school settings.
