When things do not go as planned and families are not in agreement with discussions or services provided through Committee on Special Education, we can help. Our owner is an experienced former special education administrator and CSE chairperson and has the knowledge and background to help parents understand their rights and their options.

Our New York State certified teachers provide individuals private, 1:1 instruction for students in grades K through 12, to bridge gaps and build strong academic foundations and support targeted growth. Each session is an hour in length and focuses on needs identified through the initial parent conversation, a completed assessment, or through a review of the student’s IEP.

Students receive instruction in groups of 2-3, grouped based on similarity of need. Each session is 60 minutes in length and focuses on the needs identified during the initial parent conversation, through a completed assessment, or through a view of the student’s IEP.

A New York State certified Speech/Language Therapist leads this group, where students of similar age bands work together to develop skills with turn taking, social communication, and friendships.

School systems are complex and can be difficult to navigate. We can help with reviewing and understanding IEPs and 504 Plans as well as guidance and advocacy with evaluations and eligibility.

Children can experience big emotions both in and out of school, and learning how to manage them isn’t always easy. We help by teaching practical strategies for regulation, focus, and positive behavior, while partnering with families to ensure the child gets the support they need, across home and school.
